This picture marked my very first collaboration with the ultra-talented Jason Cardy.... and was indeed the picture that got him his break into the comics business. It was also to be a poster in the short-lived UK Transformers Armada comic from Panini, but alas the book got cancelled so it never saw print....... :(

It's kind of strange to say this, but other than the PS2 game I never really got as much into the Armada story line. However I really DID like this incarnation of Optimus Prime, hence I also really like this rendition of him.
